Annotation: This is a book about a mother trying to get her daughter (Little Night) to get ready for bed. The little girl runs away from her mother and her mother tries to find her. The elements of the environment are used in this books as objects, like her hair pins being Venus and Mars.

Readers who would like this: This would be a good book for mothers and daughters to read together before the daughter goes to sleep.
Response/Rating: I give this book a 3. I really love the illustrations. It was cute and imaginative.
